Think of earth as you would think of terrestrial matter. The atomic Medelevian
elements are earth.  Your body is earth.  Your food is earth. Your computer is
earth. Earth is terrestrial matter, and it may be imbued with life, just as
your body is imbued with life and consciousness. The different forms of earth
cannot be adequately expressed due to the huge diversity of forms which are
assumed by earth (terrestrial matter).

Think of fire as energy, and of water and air as special kinds of earth.
So essentially, all is earth - all is immersed in the terrestrial realm.
And the terrestrial realm is contually being immersed by the energy of
the cosmic fire - the sunshine.  Water is special due to its ubiquity
and unique properties within the terrestrial environment and ecosystems.
Air is special in that same dimension - its ubiquity in the nature of
our current environment here in the cosmos.  Both have enabled life to
emergence from the melting pot of earth.
