The following saga might be classified as a combination of a surfing
narrative and a science fiction story set a few hundred years into the
future.  However, as the brief introduction will relate, the text of
this story was obtained under strange and inexplicable circumstances
and its content suggests that in some manner, the series of articles
comprising this Saga of the Emerald Planet were in fact written in the
future, and concern the history of future events, as weird as this
may appear.


Hopefully, you will find the story enjoyable, and the issue of its origin
need not be an issue.  Publication of further chapters will be added
to this index as they become available.

One should bear in mind the issue that if the off-world is to be pioneered,
and the frontiers and boundaries of our environment are to be pushed into
the depths of space itself, then there will be surfbreaks about the galaxy
such as the Emerald Planet, and there will continue to be surfers who are
pushing and testing their own envelope.
