Thou art the munificient Kalpaka Tree
That yieldeth its ripe fruit
To generation after generation of tried devotees
That come in time honored succession.
Thou, the Divine Light!
A forlorn destitute that I am
I sought and sought Thee,
And so doing spent sleepless nights.
And now I beseech Thee
To drive away the darkness in my eyes
And to lull me to sleep
With the light of Thine eyes.
This my prayer true!
